The brief

In the bathroom, a 600 × 600mm porcelain tiled shower enclosure with stunning navy blue vertical subway feature walls.

The challenges.

Challenge 1

Seamless mitred corners

Creating seamless mitred corners with both tiles, formed using sanded and polished epoxy resin.

Challenge 2

Flat, level and plumb

Keeping the subway tiles flat, level and plumb throughout the many surfaces.

Challenge 3

Finished to perfection

Finishing everything to perfection, so the tiling enhances the stunning wallpaper accents.

Challenge 4

The rippled niche

Tiling the rippled navy tiles in and around the niche, incorporating the LED strip and a fall on the niche base.
